Time

It seems as though it's been forever since I've spoken to you as a friend,
And maybe it has been.
It seems as though people change on a daily basis,
And maybe they do.
It seems the older I get,
And I'm not all too old,
Time seems to speed by,
More and more as each day grows.
It seems we have no time for anyone,
But yet we aren't really all that busy.
It seems we are bored,
Yet we are stressed all at the same time.
It's the little things in life that matter most,
And sometimes we have to slow our lives down to let each other in.
For if not,
We could lose everything we love and cherish.
Make time for people,
Let them see that no matter how busy, bored, old, young, tired, stressed, upset you are or how much they've changed.
You can always make some time for them.
